Behind the Scenes of the Original 'Star Wars' Trilogy: 1977 to 1983
George Lucas is a well known director and producer of movies. It took him a long journey to be able to produce the movies he had envisioned in his imagination. That's why he has the creativity and perseverance to invent the technology in order to produce the special effects for his best known movie "Star Wars" in 77'. This technology was called "Industrial Light and Magic" it illuminated objects to appear larger than they actually were like putting a ladybug under a microscope. This earned his title as a philanthropist and innovator of modern cinema.

What made George Lucas' movies brilliant was that he was able to incorporate the essence of "anthropology" and "universal messages" in his films that stood out from other movies in Hollywood.
Lucas actually intended to be a professional car driver until a fatal accident occurred before graduating high school. That's when he accidentally entered the industry in film-making, his initial intention was to be an illustrator and photographer but was convinced by a childhood friend to attend USC with him and convinced him to try the 'cinematography route.' He discovered his talent and purpose of pursuit late, is alright because if you put your passion first, success will follow.

This is what lead him to his first success "American Graffiti" based on his hometown in Modesto, California of the environment of classic cars, comedy teenager audience.

He pursued his most well known film "Star Wars" the reason that the movie is such a success because the film isn't about space ships, X-wing pilots or blowing up the "Death Star" it's a family space "soap opera" based on a father and son relationship co-existing with a teacher and student relationship that the master must teach the apprentice his knowledge and wisdom. The main characters represent this "anthropology" based film with the farmer boy "Luke Skywalker" the feisty confident princess "Leia Organa" and the charismatic funny wit character "Han Solo" along with the wise master figure "Obi Wan" and the antagonist figure "Darth Vader" that represents the turmoil of power driven greed to control an Empire. The comedic light-hearted characters "R2-D2" and "3-PO" that aid the protagonist trio. "The Force" is an invisible energy field based on compassion and faith, two different pathways the audience seeks the prevail of.

A father (Darth Vader) saving his son (Luke Skywalker) from a manipulative figure in giving into greed and thirst for power to control an empire but Vader saves his son as a selfless act of character to balance good and evil, Luke, Leia and Han represent an unbreakable bond of friendship that will face the hardships of life together.

Selena Quintanilla Series Review

  As you may know Netflix has produced a Series based on Selena during her up-rise to fame as the icon she is today. The series itself wasn't very well it didn't emulate the personality and charisma that Selena is known to have, she was very unsure of herself, shy and timid. The wigs from the show were not good either, they weren't blended and didn't really accurately represent the Quintanilla family. The story itself was well-written about the family's background and rise to fame and that it was a long journey to get to where they are today. It was primarily based on they're gigs in the 80's and the transition into the 90's. I did really like Abraham's character in the series, he was more motivational and always push his kids to be better. The humbling experience of playing the Dinos band in restaurant, and making lights out of peach cans. The commitment and strive to want to be successful, the downfall of struggling to come up with successful songs

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is the ninth Quentin Tarantino film. The concept was originally supposed to be in the form of a novel. The script took five years to develop. The film is revolved around a true story in a fictional 1960's setting but realistic events and characters. Sharon Tate and Roman Polanski, Dean Martin and the family mansion killings was an actual event. The main characters Rick Dalton and Cliff Booth are based on 60's era actor Ty Hardin and the stunt man Hal Needham which was Burt Reynold's best buddy and stuntman.  This film illustrated the 1960's era of old hollywood in the aesthetic of western television shows were booming and the counterculture was in trend. Rick Dalton is the main character in the film along with his stunt man Cliff Booth in the starring western series "Bounty Hunter" Rick Dalton is struggling to keep his image as a leading actor in hollywood from fading. Cliff Booth is his best friend they undergo shifts
